A mutated garden where evolution is no longer natural, as the desire for perfection rewrites nature into oblivion
What if heaven didn’t collapse — what if we quietly rewrote it?
Line by line. Cell by cell.
Not out of malice, but out of hunger. Out of boredom.
Out of the belief that nature could be improved if only it behaved a little more like us.
We stretched our world into cleaner shapes,
edited its instincts,
calibrated its rhythms.
Cows brewed to overflow, chickens carved into prototypes of efficiency,
flowers redesigned to bloom on command.
We applauded ourselves for the innovation,
as if mutation becomes harmless the moment it benefits us.
Then we turned inward.
Why should birth require a body when a machine can be more reliable?
Artificial wombs humming quietly in sterile rooms,
fabricating life like another product on an endless conveyor belt.
We call it progress,
never questioning when creation stopped being sacred
and became an industry.
We reprogram identities the same way—
filter by filter, gene by gene—
until even the mirror struggles to recognize the creature on the other side.
Is that evolution, or is it erosion wearing perfection's perfume?
The utopia we imagined glows softly, flawlessly,
but its light feels cold.
Too smooth.
Too symmetrical.
A paradise without pulse.
And still, Eden.exe whispers its only question:
If heaven was already here—messy, wild, unoptimized—
why were we so certain we had to fix it?
At what point did our desire for perfection
become the code that corrupted the world it tried to save?
The system continues running.
Nobody knows who’s really in control anymore.
But the garden—this new, polished, trembling garden—
keeps updating itself,
glitching beautifully
as it forgets what it once was.
